Mendix Customer Connect - UK
For Customers, By Customers

REGISTRATION HAS NOW CLOSED!

Mendix Customers have mobilized to create the Mendix Customer Connect event series. Mendix Customer Connects, also known as MCCs, are regional, quarterly, in-person events hosted by customers, for customers, facilitated by Mendix.

MCC events are a chance to connect with fellow Mendix Center of Excellence Owners, network, and hear from customers regarding what works, what doesn’t, and what’s possible.

Join us at Mendix's London office on March 9th 9:30am GMT— Hosted by Barrington Clarke, Head of UK DevOps, Zurich Insurance.

Enjoy sessions from customers on their low-code journeys as well as a special AI session from Mendix. This event will include three breakout rooms:

  • Breakout #1: Citizen Development—Unleashing capacity or invitation for chaos
Citizen development has the ability to accelerate time to market, increase business agility, enhance innovation and reduce the burden on IT teams, but it is not without risk. Low application build quality, duplication of effort, IT functions losing control due to bypassing governance. Citizen development - good, bad, or controlled risk or chaos?

  • Breakout #2: Mendix version upgrades as part of the product lifecycle: Challenges and Opportunities
The business will often focus IT spend and developer capacity on new apps and features as these activities support business objective. Such development is often at the expense of platform version upgrades and patching. How do IT functions embedded Mendix version control management into the product lifecycle, and sell the benefits of this housekeeping activity to the business.

  • Breakout #3: Understand and communicating the value of Mendix low-code in the enterprise
Does the C-suite understand the value of low-code in the enterprise such as accelerated time-to-market, increase app development volume, reduce app build costs, and be a driver for cultural change and agility. Does Architecture understand the power of low-code over more traditional technologies for building scalable platforms at pace? What can app development teams do to promote low-code in the enterprise and ensure that the business understands why it needs low-code.

The event will end with drinks, appetizers, and networking at The Harrow 4:30pm - Open.

This is an in-person event. Due to venue size, registration caps at 40. Spots are first come, first served.
